This work is inspired by women who were injured in war in different countries and historical periods. The artist prints AI-generated faces into antique brass photo frames dating back hundreds of years, and collects eye photos of women forced to be comfort women from movies and historical photos, and buries them into the sand. The woman in the frame could be the eye of any of the victims. When the shots rang out, they were reduced to blurred wounds in the imprint of history.
